Experience

Cristina Stephens is a paralegal at Bruno Lilly LeClere, PLLC. Background

Born in Mexico, Cristina immigrated to the U.S. when she was eight years old. Her parents brought her to the U.S. undocumented, seeking a better future. It took her 25 years to become a Naturalized U.S. Citizen due to the broken immigration system, backlog, lost paperwork, and hoops required to jump through.

Cristina met her husband in college, and they were married a couple of years later. They have a little boy. After staying home with him for three years, she picked up her career and joined BLL in June 2022.

Cristina has found it to be a fantastic experience working with Havilah and Andy again. Havilah is an excellent boss who is supportive, understanding, kind, generous, and a great leader. Criminal Defense is Cristina’s passion, and she takes great pride in assisting her community with their legal needs.
